Truly Valued Life

There was an individual who graduated from the U.S. Military Academy. He went to fight in the Mexican War, but suffered an accident due to alcoholism. His conduct was so bad that he was eventually disgracefully discharged. Afterwards there was repeated frustrations and failures. He found a job in a small store and suddenly was living in the midst of the U.S. Civil war.

He decided to start his life anew and applied to be general foot soldier. He was rejected because he was known to be a drunk. He had no credit, and his career including his social life after the army was a failure. He applied again and was finally was enlisted. He took initiative and went to the forefront of to lead the Civil War to victory. He was able to reach the position of commander-in-chief of the Union under President Lincoln. This man was known as Ulysses Simpson Grant, the 18th President of the United States, who surprised the world by his past failures and emerged as a renewed individual and true leader.

During the worst of times, you can often see what is the best. The same was true for the Remnants of the Bible. They saw what belonged to God in advance and held onto the most accurate covenant. Life and death and fortune and misfortune concerning man are within Gods unchanging absolute sovereignty. Joseph knew that world evangelization was inside of Gods absolute sovereignty. For that reason, he knew why hardships came and why he had become a slave. Like Joseph, if you hold onto the covenant in advance, its okay even if hardships come.

Joseph saw what his brothers couldn't. As a slave who was in the lowest seat of nothing, he was imprisoned. However, that was the path to success. Eventually, Joseph stood before Pharaoh and relayed answers that nobody else could give.

Because Joseph saw in advance, he was able to save everyone (Everything). Starting from his weakened condition in a place that had nothing, Joseph succeeded day by day. Joseph lived a victorious life, and saved everyone. You are the people of God, who will triumph and save all empty places!! I pray for you and I love you. 3/31/2021
