Focusing On The Goal

When you encounter a storm at sea, you have to choose one of three options. First you can quickly turn the vehicle around and run away. However, you might not escape because of the speed of the typhoon. Second is turning the bow to the right and left. However, this method has a good chance of flipping the vessel you are in due to the wind and waves.

The last option is to lock all the ship's doors, fasten your seat belt, and brace yourself for the storm and face it head on. It may be a difficult process, but this is the smartest course veteran captains use to get out of a storm.

There are times when you face storms in life. However, those who know God’s plan aren’t discouraged or afraid. Also, those who know God’s time schedule aren’t deceived just by solely looking at reality. Paul was aware why he had to go to powerful nations. Although the ship heading to Rome was on the verge of capsizing due to a storm, Paul reassured those on the ship and confessed, “So take heart, men, for I have faith in God that it will be exactly as I have been told.”

Empty places that need to hear the Gospel are increasing and those who are spiritually ill are becoming more and more prevalent. God is looking for someone who knows the mission and reason to testify “only Gospel” in this age that has met a terrible storm. Remnants who take time every day to ask questions before God will discover His time and reason and accomplish the works that He desires. You are people of God who will be used as a main figure for this His time schedule!! I pray for you and I love you. 5/14/21
