God's Salvation

The story behind the scenes of the movie Papillon not a lot of people know about. The main character, Henri "Papillon" Charrière, couldn't return to France but had to live in South America. When the statute of limitations expired in 1967, he turned 61. He wrote Papillon, an autobiography and the original movie, realizing that work is fleeting.

"I prayed to God that I give up revenge. When I pray that a tragedy like this will never happen again. That's when you are victorious. You are here as a free and beloved future hero. Now I am the freest and happiest person ever." Charrière's monologue was about the fading away of 30 years of hatred with forgiveness.

God's plan of salvation is unprecedented in history, and my salvation through Christ is even more unprecedented. If we realize that God's forgiveness has saved mankind, we can become free men in the true gospel.

Joshua, who in the past walked with Moses, held onto the unprecedented and never-repeated answer that he had experienced as his covenant again. In the field, Joshua obeyed the Word that the Lord was with him just as He had been with Moses and stood as the one who remained, a pilgrim, and a conqueror. Then, the prayer of transcending the environment and himself came out which later stopped the sun and the moon. Furthermore, he was able to boldly overcome the problems of reality by seeing in advance the future land that God had promised.

Regarding the incident when his brothers sold him as a slave, Joseph confessed that God had sent him ahead to save the world. Indeed, it was a situation where he could’ve received scars and resented his brothers, but he didn’t give the confession that Satan wanted. Likewise, when you face problems or crises, you mustn’t be deceived by the situation; instead, take it before God as a prayer topic. If you don’t fall into momentary deception, you’ll see God’s eternal answer.

You are God's people who will receive unprecedented answers today in the midst of problems and incidents!!! I pray for you and I love you. 4/04/2022
