John Bunyan, the eldest son of a tinker. He came from a poor family and had some schooling causing him to barely be able to read and write. He learned his father's trade of tinker to take over his family business, but John enlisted in the Parliamentary army at around 16-17. This was where he was introduced to various religions and married his wife, Mary, at the age of 20. Amongst the dowry that Mary had brought were some Puritan documents and a Bible that John had always wanted to read.
There was a time when Britain restricted the preaching of sermons to only those with state permission. Bunyan, however, broke the law and even after spending three years in prison, he continued to break the authorities' order to “never preach.” This forced him to spend 12 years in prison.
While in prison, John Bunyan wrote “The Pilgrim's Progress,” leaving the "City of Destruction" ("this world"), to the "Celestial City" ("that which is to come": Heaven) atop Mount Zion. “The Pilgrim's Progress,” is the second most read by people after the Bible, and it has become the channel of salvation through faith in Jesus. It has become a great direction for a correct walk of faith.
As a spiritual being created in God’s image, you come to life when you set aside time to focus solely on the Triune God. Deep breathing, regular exercise, singing praises or praying aloud are also good. When you focus completely on God, you’ll be connected with the authority of the heavenly throne.
When you discover the things of God, you’ll see that the world follows what is wrong and people hold onto what’s incorrect. Moreover, you’ll realize what God desires the most, and you’ll go to the Spiritual Summit.
God will disclose unprecedented and never-repeated answers regarding yourself, the church, and everything that you do. He’ll also give evidences to save the church, field, and age. In the end, with those evidences, you’ll stand as a witness.
You are people of God, who will stand as watchmen to save the future generations and all nations!!
I pray for you, and I love you. 4/8/2022
